As Carvana scaled its nationwide online vehicle platform, legal workload grew across contracts, financings, and product development. Manual document handling, outside-counsel dependencies, and fragmented knowledge slowed turnaround and created consistency risk. Carvana estimates each lawyer now reclaims 7–10 hours every week for advising and strategy. Attorneys use Harvey for first-pass drafting, redlining, comparisons, and research while focusing judgment on negotiations and deal strategy.
